Chapter 17 Teaching Mathematics
Mathematics is, as I said before, one of the most important subjects to teach. Children aged 4 to 5 really enjoy a hands-on approach and short, targeted games are an excellent way of teaching number strategies. As a parent you need to teach your child basic mathematical numbers and concepts, develop basic knowledge of shapes, number patterns and skills in addition and subtraction. Some suggested Mathematical activities are listed to show just a few activities I successfully used for my children. Please click through to the CHART to view other age groups.
