Which bug makes the loudest noise?

You may have heard crickets and grasshoppers making a rumpus but they are nothing compared to the cicada. This noisy bug can be heard half a kilometre away. There are over 3,000 different species of cicada and did you know that each one makes a different call?

Task 1: Draw a picture of a cicada.
Task 2: Make a large cicada using recycled materials. Hang your cicada from a ceiling.
