

This guinea pig is enjoying a crust of bread. Besides bread it likes to eat grass, carrots, spinach, celery, corn, beans, tomato, melon, cucumber and guinea pig pellets which are available from pet stores.
Wild plants both good and bad for Guinea pigs.

Chickweed, Clover, Cow Parsley, Dandelion, Dock, Groundsel, Plantains, Sow Thistle, Vetches, there are a number of other plants also suitable for guinea pigs. |
Anemone, Belladonna, Bindweed, Boxwood, Buttercup, Celandine, Foxglove, Hemlock, Rhubarb, Potato leaves and many other plants are poisonous too. Mown grass is not suitable for guinea pigs. |
