Mozambique is bordered by
Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, and South Africa and has a land
area of 799,380 square kilometres (308,642 square miles). The beautiful Zambezi
River cuts the country into northern and southern regions. Other major rivers
are the Limpopo in the south, the Pungwe, Save, Revue, and Buzi in the central
part, and the Ruvuma, which forms the northern border with Tanzania.
