Haiti's official name is the Republic of Haiti and occupies an area of approximately 26,832 square kilometres (10,360 square miles). Languages used are French and Haitian Creole, which are both official.

Pic La Selle, is the highest mountain peak and Artibonite, is Haiti's major river. If you head to the capital city Port-au-Prince, make sure to have their currency which is 1 gourde = 100 centimes.
