Once known as British Honduras, Belize consists of magnificent mountains, swamps, and fantastic tropical jungles. The Maya Mountains form a plateau in the south with Victoria Peak being the highest point. Belize is bordered by Mexico, Guatemala and the Caribbean Sea.
