The Republic of Panama
is located on the Isthmus of Panama that connects Central and South
America and of course bisected by the famous Panama Canal. Interesting
culture and history, like it being the main route to rich Spanish colonies
in Peru, which passed across the Isthmus of Panama, makes this place
worthwhile visiting.
