Delightful Malta is located in the central Mediterranean Sea, south of Sicily and consists of five islands, Malta (the largest), Gozo, Comino, Cominotto, and Filfla. Hot and dry summers with cool rainy winters, make this island an ideal place to visit anytime of the year. Tourism plays a major role and archaeological remains on Malta make it an interesting place to visit. Historical events about the Romans, the Arabs, Napoleon, and British influence can all be learned while visiting Malta.
