Iraq has held many
interesting historical sights such as the Arch of Khosru II, located in
the town of Ctesiphon, the Shrine of Abbas in the town of Karbala, and the
Tomb of Ali, which has always been a frequent Muslim pilgrimage site.
Major rivers like the Tigris, and the Euphrates flow through this ancient
land and hold much historical meaning to many people.
