Israel is located on
the eastern Mediterranean coast and is extremely rich in Biblical history.
Fantastic natural features such as the Mountains of Galilee, the Jordan
River, the Dead Sea, and the Sea of Galilee attract much attention with
tourists. Jerusalem still shows ancient sites such as Absalom's Pillar
outside the Old City, the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem, the Via Dolorosa,
which is said to be the traditional path of Jesus Christ to Calvary, and
the Wailing Wall which is another major attraction to thousands who visit
it each year.
