The small but
delightful desert nation of Kuwait has seen wars come and go due to its
richness in oil wells which lie along the border of Iraq. Kuwait lies at
the north-east tip of the Arabian Peninsula, on the shore of the Persian
Gulf. A number of small islands belong to Kuwait, including Faylakah,
Bubiyan, and Warbah. Although the harsh climate and conditions of living
are difficult you'll find the people friendly and keen to share their
beautiful country with visiting tourists.
