Oman is located on the
southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula and is bordered by the Strait
of Hormuz, the Gulf of Oman, the Arabian Sea, Yemen, Saudi Arabia and the
United Arab Emirates. Natural features such as the Al Hajar mountains, the
Dhofar region, and the Arabian Peninsula. Arabic is the official language
but English is also spoken and taught in the schools.
