To make a colour wheel you will need several shades of the following coloured pencils: yellow - green - blue - violet - red - orange. Shade the colour wheel sections using each colour mentioned from lightest to darkest. Once you've done that check out some colour charts by visiting a paint shop where they mix white base paint with different colours to create the colour of your choice.

Paint shops usually have colour charts available for their customers and would be happy for you to look at them. You may not be able to take them home but if you ask they may let you. Large hardware stores also mix paints sometimes so check these out instead if no local paint shop is around. You can also go online and find web sites which explain more about colours and how to mix them.
