This is an ideal worksheet for young students who enjoy counting objects and pictures. Besides this worksheet you can consider some of the following activities as well: Provide a bucket of coloured pegs or blocks. Ask students to count the entire contents of the bucket. Once they have come to the correct answer ask them to separate the objects in their respective colours. Ask them to count how many of each colour, write the answers down so your students have the written experience as well as the practical experience. Counting is a fun exercise and most students will enjoy practical maths. Go outside if possible and count windows, doors, push bikes, trees, people, basically anything that can be seen from where the students are standing or sitting. If you can't go outside count the number of chairs, desks, computers, or shelves in the classroom.
