Did you know that wombats live in Australia? They are brown, grey or blackish in colour. The wombat is endangered. That means they are protected because there are not many wombats left in the wild. They eat grass, bark, roots and fungi.

How would you like to be a wombat and having to eat grass, bark, roots and fungi? Do you know what a wombat looks like in real life? How many feet does it have? Does it have fur or feathers? Can a wombat climb a tree or swim?

Let's find out from a picture book which you may be able to find at home or in the library. Once you know what a wombat looks like draw it on your paper.
