Wildlife is a term used to describe animals in their natural habitate without human interference. A bird in your back garden could be wildlife provided it is native to the area and lives relatively free from human interference. Some insects are also considered wildlife. A lot of Governments are starting to protect wildlife and highly discourage people from feeding them, but they do encourage you to provide natural vegetation in your gardens for them.
