Differentiation Differentiation is a method in calculus that can be used in many ways such as optimisation, finding small changes involving calculus, etc. Basic differentiation is actually quite easy once you understand the rules and how to follow them, as it is very structured. Following the given rules will enable you to successfully differentiate a formula. Differentiation rules: By following the above rules, you can individually differentiate all parts of the equation to get your final answer. IntegrationIntegration is the reverse process of differentiation and is sometimes called anti-differentiation. There are two main types of integration: (1) definite integration and (2) indefinite integration The difference between the two types of integrals is that definite integrals contain upper and lower boundaries which can be used to find the area under a curve. This includes the total area or the area that has been cancelled out. Integration rules: By following the above rules you will be able to integrate and solve the formula.
